Role description
The Early Years Teacher creates a warm classroom where young children feel secure, curious, and ready to explore. The role combines play-based learning, early literacy and numeracy, routines, creative activities, and close communication with families.
This position is suited to a teacher who enjoys building calm classroom culture, observing child development carefully, and planning practical activities that help children grow socially, emotionally, and academically.
Requirements
- Teaching qualification or early childhood education background.
- Experience working with young children in a school, nursery, or early learning setting.
- Strong English communication and warm parent communication skills.
- Patient, organized, caring classroom style.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate learning activities.
- Support early language, social confidence, movement, creativity, and classroom routines.
- Observe student progress and communicate clearly with families and school leadership.
- Maintain a safe, clean, welcoming, and well-organized classroom.
