Role description
The Teaching Assistant works closely with classroom teachers to help students participate, stay organized, and feel supported throughout the school day.
This role is ideal for someone patient, reliable, and practical who enjoys helping children with routines, activities, small-group learning, and positive behavior habits.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a school or child-focused setting is preferred.
- Patient, caring, organized, and reliable approach.
- Ability to follow teacher guidance and support classroom routines.
- Good teamwork and communication with students and staff.
Responsibilities
- Support classroom routines, transitions, materials, and learning activities.
- Assist individuals and small groups during lessons.
- Help maintain safe, tidy, and welcoming learning spaces.
- Encourage respectful behavior, independence, and student confidence.
